At StorageBox, we’re always looking for ways to make life easier for students, and our recent event at University College Dublin (UCD) on the 6th of March 2025 was a huge success! We had the fantastic opportunity to connect with students, showcase our flexible and secure storage solutions, and help them find hassle-free ways to store their belongings.
We want to do a special big thank you to Clodagh from UCD Reslife, who helped us organise the event. We couldn’t have done it without Clodagh! Thanks to Clodagh and her team, we had an incredible experience engaging with students with lots of fun too!
Making Storage Simple for Students
We understand that students, especially international and out-of-town students, often struggle with finding convenient storage during holidays, travel, or when moving accommodations. That’s why we hosted this event—to offer practical solutions that fit their needs. At this event we were able to show our Student StorageBox, answer questions and demonstrate just how simple and affordable StorageBox makes the storage process.
What Made the Event a Success?
- Great Engagement: We had the chance to speak with so many students who shared their storage challenges
- Convenience & Flexibility: Our door-to-door storage service resonated well with students who need a stress-free way to store their items without worrying about transportation.
Competition & Fun Activities
After our brief presentation, everyone enjoyed pizza followed by our games. Vincent from StorageBox brought a sample of our Student StorageBox, which we used for two exciting challenges:
- Speed Pack Challenge: Participants raced to pack the StorageBox with a variety of suitcases, boxes, and even an ironing board!
- Box Capacity Guessing Game: Students had to guess how many cardboard boxes would fit inside
- Balloon Race: Our large cardboard boxes were distributed among students, who had a timed race to blow up as many balloons as possible and fill their boxes!
